The ERP Odoo Functional supports the IT Manager in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of Diom’s IT systems and users. The role focuses on first-line support, ERP user assistance, system administration tasks, and coordination with vendors, ensuring smooth IT operations, timely issue resolution, and high internal customer satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in reducing operational load on the IT Manager, enabling focus on strategy, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
ERP (Odoo) & Business Systems Support
- Support ERP (Odoo) users with user setup, access rights, and basic troubleshooting.
- Guide employees on correct system usage and standard processes.
- Support system rollouts, upgrades, and user training sessions related to ERP and internal systems.
- Assist in testing and basic system validation when required.
IT Assets, Vendors & Operational Administration
- Manage IT asset inventory, device allocation, and license tracking.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for maintenance and issue resolution.
- Follow up on open tickets, warranties, and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate IT records and asset documentation.
End-User Support & Service Desk Operations
- Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, network, printers, and user access issues.
- Monitor and manage IT service requests, ensuring compliance with internal SLAs.
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding (devices, system access, IT orientation).
- Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or vendors when required.
- Report recurring issues and user pain points.
Systems, Security & Continuous Improvement Support
- Assist in basic network, systems, backup, and cybersecurity tasks under IT Manager supervision.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
- Support IT projects, system rollouts, upgrades, and user training sessions as assigned by the IT Manager
- Identify improvement opportunities and operational risks.
